Ride the Rapids of the Könkämäeno River in Enontekiö, the most nothern parts of western Finish Lapland. During the 4-5 hours trip the guide will prepare a deliciuos picnic meal with coffee and snacks and you have a time out to enjoy the astonishing landscapes of the untouched wild nature.

We prefer for families

This 4-5 hours trip is something for those who want to see the nature in a bit more calm way. The difficulty level is not as high as the one of the other trips. During the trip the guide will prepare a deliciuos picnic meal with coffee and snacks.

Personal Guiding!

Tailored to fit your needs, personal guiding are a "build your own" format that can include any of the following topics: Guided Fly Fishing in Lapland's wild rivers and lakes, Casting, Nymphing, Dry Fly Fishing, Reading the water, Where the fish is standing, Fly tying, Fly selection, and more. The focus of our private fly fishing guiding is to make you a more self sufficient angler. In doing this we will strengthen your areas of "weakness," and improve your overall productivity on Lapland's amazing waters.

Rate: 450€/day (max. 2 persons). Ask for price if you like more than one day or if you are a bigger group!
Rate includes: Guide/instructor, car transfers in Enontekiö area, fishing gear/fly fishing gear and waders, shoes, wool/wading socks, flies, flyfishing vest, rain jacket, warm hat and gloves if cold weather, polarized sunglasses, boat(river boat, rubber boat or canoe), engine, safety gear, hot meal, and coffee/tea.
On extra charge: Helicopter, sea plane, off-road jeep transfers, airport transfers, extra meals, fishing license, and accommodation.

Longer Fly fishing adventures!

Our long adventures are 100% tailor made trips, so. let us know your wishes:

1. Would you like to caughts a lot of medium graylings(500g-900g) or quite many big graylings(800g-1200g) or few very big graylings(1400g-2000g)? => Spots where is very big graylings(1400g-2000g), there is no trouts!

2. Would you like to fish only with dryfly?

3. Are you ready to sleep overnights in a lavvu (comfortable tent with heater)?

4. Do you like river/stream fishing? but are you ready to fish in the lake/backwater if there is better chance to caught your record grayling, trout or arctic char?

5. How many person you are and how many days you would like to fish?

6. Do you have some budget, 500€, 1500€ or 3500€ per person? Please let us know, after is much more easy to plan right flyfishing adventure to you!

7. Do you have normal fysical condition? Can you wade if there is slipery stones? Do you like to walk 2-5km per day, or more? What about canoe paddling? Do you want to reach spots with boat ,without 2-5km walking?

8. What about the meals? Would you like to do meals together with guide? Or do you like more all inclusive?

9. If you like to fish the best of the best arctic char, grayling and trout waters in one week, it is possible, but then we have to use helicopter two or three time.

Do It Yourself fly fishing adventure by helicopter - Finland, Enontekiö!

Magic River or Forgotten Lake!
(Trophy grayling, pike, trout and white fish)

Duration: 5-8 days.
Including: Information about the best fly fishing location -GPS coordinates, map, car transportation from/to the airport (Kittilä, Kiruna or Tromso), helicopter flights from/to, fishing licenses, tent/ lavvu with heater, sleeping bags, mats, outdoor travel kitchen, eating equipment, first aid kit, and mosquito repellent.
Rate example 3-4 persons group: 2800€/group.
On extra charge: Fly fishing Guide, car transfers from Rovaniemi, accommodation in a tundra cabin.

You have to just a bring, flyfishing equipment, camera, outdoor clothing and very best smile :-) After your arrival at the airport we will go to the food shop and there you can buy your wilderness meals and drinks.

Do It Yourself fly fishing adventure by off-road jeep - Finland, Enontekiö!

Wilderness River Lätäseno (Map, Mukkakoski repids, Lätäseno!) (salmon, trout, grayling)

Mountain lake Vuontisjärvi and small grayling streams (Map, Mountain lake Vuontisjärvi!). (trophy grayling, pike)

In the north side to the mountain lake Vuontisjärvi located the Kutukoski wilderness cabin. Cabin are easy to reach by boat. 7-10 km away from Kutukoski cabin is a really nice grayling and trout rivers (Vuontisjoki, Kaskasjoki and Toriseno -trophy grayling and trout). Quite easy terrain to hike. (Map, Toriseno and Kaskasjoki).

We have also rubber boat and canoes in the Lake Ylimmäinen Vuontisjärvi and in the lake Alimmainen Vuontisjärvi. So, you can easy reach this point by the boat.

Duration: 7-8 days.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

-Depending on weather and for the safety and comfort matter of the others we reserve the right to change the plan and the duration of the activities and fishing trips if necessary.

-If our guest are noticed to be a potential harm or even danger to him/herself, animals or to others, or is in poor health we also reserve the right to discontinue the trip.

NOTE: The weather in the fell regions can get so bad that the helicopter or airplane can not keep up their operation anymore. This means that in the worst case scenario we might have to stay in the mountains for an extra night. Regarding that we will always have tents, lavvus, wilderness cabin, emergency nutrition and all nescessary emergency equipment with us which allow us to hold our position risklessly to the next possible pick up by the aircrafts.

Please note, that in case of very unlucky weather situations the aircrafts are not able to operate. Grayling Land does not take responsability for such circumstances.

When planing your holiday, make sure that you have a 1 day buffer between return from the mountains and departure from the airport!

RESPONSIBILITY

-Grayling Land is not responsible for extreme weather conditions, lost luggage, lost or damaged fishing tackle or illnesses of participants. Baggage and personal effects are the sole responsibility of the traveling client at all times. Grayling Land will not be responsible for, and will not issue refunds or credits for the following: early departure by customer's choice; fishing cancelled as a result of inclement weather.

INSURANCE:

-Grayling Land is not responsible for the insurances of participants. Everyone should take his/her own travel insurance well before trip starts. Travel insurance should cover all possible medical treatments, medicines and lost, delayed or damaged luggage and fishing equipment. Travel insurance should cover customers costs in case of cancellation.

ATTENTION:

-If you are a vegetarian, have a special diet or a serious disease; please inform us well in advance - preferably when you reserve the tour!

-Mobile phone coverage may not be available!
